Yasmin Jamaal

Yasmin Jamaal is self-taught chef, food researcher, certified nutritionist, and holistic health and wellness coach, currently signed with Source Models. Born and raised in a Sierra Leonean-Lebanese household, Yasmin spent her early years navigating the challenges of the civil war before eventually relocating to London. After moving to the UK, Yasmin spent time living in a homeless shelter, where her battle with health truly began.Chronic fatigue, unexplained illnesses, countless emergency room visits, and a kitchen drawer overflowing with repeat prescriptions became her new reality. It was through these hardships that Jamaal Cuisine was born.

As time went by, Yasmin’s passion for food evolved into a deeper calling. She witnessed how modern life often pulls people away from wholesome, nourishing meals and how deeply our bodies crave real, healing food. She knew she wanted to create something that honoured the flavours of her heritage while embracing a holistic approach to health and well-being.

A complete lifestyle shift, beginning with her diet transformed Yasmin’s health in powerful ways. A transformation she believes anyone can achieve.
Today, although she mostly prepares plant-based meals, Yasmin does not label her diet. Instead, she focuses on foods that nourish the body best: nutrient-dense, healing ingredients rooted in nature and tradition. 
Through Jamaal Cuisine, Yasmin shares not just food, but a way of living. One that promotes healing, balance, strength, and vitality, all while celebrating culture and connection.​
