Would you eat this?


A question I get asked frequently is, do you eat just plants? The answer is no.

Once every other week, I fry up ox liver which I buy from my local halal shop, squeeze lime juice over it, sprinkle salt, black pepper and eat with salad on the side.


When bought, it looks as it does in the photo below. It does smell like blood and you may get turned off by it but once seasoned, it tastes delicious. It is also quite heavy and filling so I advice not to eat with starch as it will be difficult to digest.
